The Nelson Tasman Positive Aging Forum discussed the Age to Be Positive Aging Expo. This is a personal thank you from myself, but also as Chair of the Positive Aging Group, as regards the Expo. From where I sit, it is due to the wonderful venue you have, but also the assistance you give in so many ways. The time and effort all done with a friendly smile etc., certainly, I believe, sets the tone for the whole day. It is a pleasure. So many people spoke with me about your overall area and many did not know it was there, but a building can not do it on its own and I thank you for who you are.

Every year we hold a major fundraiser to raise money for our vocational service for people with disabilities. In the past we have held a quiz night, night market, and in recent years, a fashion parade, which has now become a yearly event. The Headingly Centre is an outstanding venue, and we cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Their support before, during and after our events is such a blessing to us all. Everything is done in a professional manner; they always go out of their way to ensure we have a successful event. We are incredibly grateful to have this facility for our use. I highly recommend The Headingly Centre to anyone considering a future conference or event.
