I'm Sean and I have the privilege of serving the Lord as the Youth Pastor here at Grace. My journey to this ministry has taken me to some amazing places including serving with the Army in Bosnia, a PE degree at Otago University and a 15 year career with the New Zealand Police. I look on these experiences as really positive, as they have opened my eyes to the reality of the world and the needs of people. I am passionate about God's Word and the power it has to transform people's lives. My desire is to walk with the youth of our church to a deeper relationship with Christ and a greater understanding of His Word.
Favourite Scripture: Ephesians 2:4-7
Relaxation: When I'm not at church I love to read, watch a few movies and if possible do some fly fishing. The fly fishing is a great escape for me. It's a pretty safe endeavour for the fish as well, as I'm not an overly accomplished fisherman!
Interesting fact:I once locked myself in a jail cell. Actually.
Sean is married to Kiri and has two sons; Caleb and Jamie.
