The book of Acts is one of the most exciting books in the whole bible. It tells us the remarkable story of how the Church began from very humble beginnings to a global movement, impacting people of different cultures and languages throughout the world.
But, Acts was not written merely to entertain. It challenges us to follow in the footsteps of those early disciples by engaging in mission as they did, in full heart commitment and dependence on the Holy Spirit. The Church was never meant to be a place for spectators. Where Jesus send us, we must go – whatever the cost.
